When you receive your card, sign it immediately on the signature strip provided on the back of the card.
Always take the utmost care when storing your card and do not make it accessible to third parties.
Do not lend your card or give out your card number to a third party, even if they are your family or friends.
Check regularly that the card is still in your possession.
Treat your card with the same care that you treat cash.
Be particularly careful in crowded places and do not get distracted when using your card at ATMs.
Your card and PIN code must be kept separately. When you receive your PIN code, replace it with a personal one as soon as possible. To do this at an ATM in Switzerland, select the function «Change PIN code» and enter your desired number combination. Avoid choosing combinations that are too obvious, such as your date of birth or your telephone number. Also avoid writing down your PIN code or communicating it to third parties. If an expired card is reissued, the PIN code will stay the same for your new card.
