Yes, payments with Garmin Pay™ are extremely secure. Neither Cornèrcard nor Garmin Pay™ stores or transmits card or personal data when making a payment.

Tokenisation: after adding your Cornèrcard to Garmin Pay™, Garmin Pay™ generates a device account number, a so-called token, which is then assigned to your Cornèrcard. When making payments using Garmin Pay™, this token is used in encrypted form to protect your data and keep them private.

Payment authorisation: the authentication procedure for making payments with the Garmin smartwatch is via a four-digit PIN, which must be entered each time you put on the watch. If you wear the watch for more than 24 hours, you will have to enter the PIN again.
