Payments made with Apple Pay are particularly safe, as no personal information or Cornèrcard data are transmitted or saved when concluding the transaction.

Adding your Cornèrcard to the Wallet generates an encoded device account number, which is then saved on your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch’s chip. When you pay with Apple Pay, this device account number and a one-time valid security code are used to process the payment with your Cornèrcard.

Unlike credit cards and prepaid cards, authorising a payment with your iPhone or iPad always requires your Face ID, Touch ID or code and the Apple Watch must be unlocked. This means that only you can pay with your device.
